Student-Athletes

At the website of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (www.ncaa.org), student-athletes can find information about colleges which offer their sports at any of the three division levels. The site also includes current athletic rankings of colleges.

The NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse maintains academic standards regarding student-athletes in college. Any RCHS student-athlete planning on competing at the Division I or II level in college must complete the Clearinghouse registration after their junior year. This includes a student's basic personal and academic information along with an official Raleigh Charter transcript and a registration fee. The College Counseling Office processes these requests.
